WHERE IS GOD ? THE SEARCH FOR GOD
WHERE IS GOD ? THE SEARCH FOR GOD
“Oh my God!” Paresh Rawal has a line in the film, “If you look for God in men, you will find him, not in stone statues.” I was deeply touched by this. In my opinion, God is either a synonym for love or a name for someone who thinks of the happiness of all without thinking of himself. In Our previous article, we
covered the story of Dil Ki Baat Adhoori Rah Gayi (Love's Redemption), which tells the story of a boy named Abhay who selflessly yearns for his girlfriend, Pallavi. Through this selfless love, he receives a revelation from God, the creator of humanity.
Next example is , those great men who sacrificed their lives to liberate the country, their selfless dedication is the true god.But the sad thing is that people only look for God in idols. They don't look for God at all, they just pretend. The more a person pretends, the more selfish he becomes.
They go to temples and spend hours worshipping, but when people in need appear before them, they turn their backs. Is this devotion to God? Will God be pleased with such superficial devotion?
The true God dwells in the arms of a mother who forgets her hunger for her children, and in the sweat of a father ho works hard day and night for his family.
God is in the hands of friends, silently supporting us in difficult times, and God is also in the heart of strangers, who provide food to the hungry without considering what he will receive in return.Abhay goes through the same thing. His selfless love for Pallavi, finding his own joy in her joy and his own pain in her pain – these emotions bring him closer to God.He did not find God on the steps of the temple or in the eyes of the idols, but he felt God in Pallavi’s smile, in her tears, in her every breath.
Maybe that’s why, when we truly love someone, when we selflessly do something for someone, we can find that strength, that peace, that joy within ourselves that we can call a form of God. In these moments, we rise above the noise of the world and understand the meaning of our existence.
So, the next time you go looking for God, instead of going to a temple or a pilgrimage site, go find someone who needs your help. Bring someone's smile, share their pain, and share their joy.Believe me, there, in that selfless feeling, you will find God in his purest and truest form.
